Well here we go again

The Dave McMurdo Jazz Orchestra will appear at The Rex Monday, February 15 – first set is at 9:30.

This is very personal, but please know that we are dedicating this date to John Norris, founder of Coda Magazine & Sackville Recordings who died yesterday Sunday, January 31, age 76. In fact, without John’s never ending support  for our music, I might not be writing you about the band today.

John really loved the music and the players and had an extremely low tolerance

for any form of b.s. in Music and in Life.

We need all of you who love the band as much as I do to come out and support us. I know that this may not be your favourite venue, but right now it’s the only game in town, unless some of  you know somewhere else we can perform our unique music.

To put it bluntly, we need everyone of you to come on down toThe Rex on the 15th ----please!
